Hittade denna länk på SATS hemsida om en insamling av gamla leksaker till förmån för Röda Korset

"Har du överblivna leksaker hemma? Det kan bli årets finaste julklapp för ett annat barn!
Under perioden 1-30 november tar MiniSats emot både nya och begagnade leksaker i fint skick (ej inslagna).
När insamlingen är klar skickar vi hela julklappssäcken till Röda Korset, som ser till att de kommer till stor glädje för familjer och barn som Röda Korset kommer i kontakt med runt om i Sverige."

Alla med barn borde ha en massa överblivna leksaker som kan skänkas bort!

Folk i dagens samhälle är alldeles för rädda för att bli sårade och utnyttjade för att våga lita på någon.

Nuförtiden finner man bara blind tillit och oskuldsfullhet hos barn.

Roll up, roll up, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls for the crack of the whip against the animal’s stinging wounds. A big round of applause for the flaming hoops, the injuries and the electric shocks. Come and see the famed number of cages and tightly binding chains allowing no escape from endless training sessions. Laugh, applaud and join in with the repetitive choreographed routines typical of depressed animals under great stress. All the fun of the circus travelling from city to city exhibiting animals as human caricatures. Clowning around that’s no fun at all.

Kindness is the highest form of intelligence

Jag minns när jag gick på gymnasiet och min lärare i samhällsvetenskap fick frågan hur han definierade intelligens. Han svarade något i stil med att hans definition av intelligens var inte hur högt IQ man hade, utan vad man valde att använda sin intelligens till.

Hitler var en begåvad talare, Mussolini hade säkert fått högsta betyg i psykologi i skolan. För att inte tala om hur mycket kunskap som många ekonomiska brottslingar, bombmän och oärliga politiker innehar. Alla har de dock en sak gemensamt och det är att de har använt sin kunskap i ett negativt syfte.

Det finns också de som innehar så mycket kunskap och talang men inte delar med sig av den. Som kanske sitter på helt fel jobbposter och berövar omvärlden på deras fulla potential.

Jag har så många i min bekantskap som är duktiga på att sjunga, duktiga på att dansa, duktiga på att måla, men inte utnyttjar det. Vi har blivit tilldelade så mycket och det minsta vi kan göra är att använda det.Sprid glädje med er talang!

I mitt senaste inlägg om pärlplattor tipsade jag om att man kunde göra glasunderlägg av pärlplattor.

Jag har nu finaliserat det projektet.

På baksidan har jag limmat fast tygbitar. Jag letade med ljus och lykta efter korkskivor att skära till och ha istället, men tyvärr utan framgång.

Jag älskar att fota. Tar ofta så mycket bilder att folk i min omgivning får lite smått panik slash blir väldigt, väldigt irriterade och eller illa till mods.

Detta betyder att jag har väldigt mycket bilder. Bilder som mestadels ligger och skräpar i diverse mappar och på externa hårddiskar.

Men det finns faktiskt mycket fint man kan göra med bilderna.

Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world, millions of despairing men, women, and little children, victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.

To those who can hear me I say, "Do not despair." The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed, the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass and dictators die; and the power they took from the people will return to the people and so long as men die, liberty will never perish.

Soldiers: don't give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you, enslave you, who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think and what to feel; who drill you, diet you, treat you as cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men, machine men, with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts. You don't hate; only the unloved hate, the unloved and the unnatural.

Soldiers: don't fight for slavery! Fight for liberty! In the seventeenth chapter of Saint Luke it is written, "the kingdom of God is within man" -- not one man, nor a group of men, but in all men, in you, you the people have the power; the power to create machines; the power to create happiness. You the people have the power to make life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.

Then, in the name of democracy, let us use that power! Let us all unite! Let us fight for a new world, a decent world that will give men a chance to work, that will give you the future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power, but they lie! They do not fulfill their promise; they never will. Dictators free themselves, but they enslave the people! Now, let us fight to fulfill that promise! Let us fight to free the world, to do away with national barriers, to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men's happiness.
